What’s good, good people!

Welcome to Anna DeShawn.com. So the time has finally come & its really hard to believe. I’m hella excited & I’m nervous but I’m more excited. It’s taken me a while to feel comfortable sharing my thoughts & feeling in the public sphere.

I’ve been doing work in the Black queer community for a decade and its my time. I’m excited that you’re here and I hope you enjoy this space. I’ll be sharing my #AnnasGotAWord at least once a month. My home cooking. All the running I’m doing. And I hope you enjoy what I have to say. We may not always agree but I think its worth my time to actually add my voice to the cannon. The cannon that is Black+Queer+Beautiful because I have something to say that I believe is worth sharing.
